I'm trying to decide on whether i should buy a 4 core / 6 core / 8 core i7 CPU?
Does anyone know if Quixel Suite benefit from having more cores? Or is it single CPU bound (like most games)?
The most slow aspects of Quixel for me are when I enter into Dynamask Paint mode and whenever I apply my changes to the mask settings.
It's also very slow when I add a new Smart Material...
My current system have a SSD drive and my scratch disk and work is all kept on the SSD ( Samsung Evo Pro ). I also have 32 gigs of RAM.

I don't see why DDO or NDO wouldn't take advantage of multiple processors. The biggest bottleneck is going to be project resolution and number of loaded maps vs your installed GPU. If your CPU is slow you'll probably notice that quickly.
