Hi i wanted to get back into modelling as im looking to get into the gaming industry as a 3d artist. This is my first time making a model which is meant to be of video game quality. Below is a concept which i know isn't the best but its more to get the right form of the shape of the robot and what colours and textures will be going onto the robot. the main inspiration comes from other video games such as fallout, ratchet and clank a bit of borderlands.
the low poly version of the model is now finished. As you can see i've tried to keep the model true to its concept in some ways but also add in the much needed detail so it doesnt look so simple.
Im looking for some much needed feedback before I start texturing in substance painter. It will be much appreciated.
