What it’s about
Are you an experienced Concept/2D Artist with a background in the gaming industry with a strong sense of anatomy, design, color theory and creating stylized characters? Are you passionate about gaming?
We have an exciting and challenging opportunity for you to become part of our growing team of artists at Stunlock Studios. Here at Stunlock Studios, we are developing competitive and community driven games, always with the players in focus. We are looking for a passionate artist to work with concept art of ingame characters and assets as well associated 2D graphic for use in game.
What you will do
- Create concept art for new characters, weapons, character skins and mounts.
- Create various types of environment concept art.
- Work closely with Art Directors, 3D and VFX artists and Animators to take a new character from idea to final product.
- Be a mentor and give input to other concept artists in the studio.
What we’re looking for
Essential
- Excel at creating concept artwork
- Have shipped PC/console titles as a concept artist
- Experienced with digital content creation tools (Photoshop etc)
- Excellent understanding of human and creature anatomy
- Keen eye for form, shape, structure and silhouette
Desirable
- Good understanding of the Battlerite visual style
- Experience in illustration and promotional art
- Good eye for light, value, composition, color, staging and detail
