Hello Everyone!
This is my first post over at Polycount. I've been wanting to find a way to track progress on this project and share it with the web, so I figured thread updates would be the way to go. Any feedback or suggestions on how to build some pieces, or w/ general workflow is welcome!
the model is based on Emerson Tung's Orbital Sniper concept (right):

I tackled a hard surface mech via Zbrush and am having one hell of a time getting pieces clean, but it's been interesting. I've considered taking some pieces in maya to make them cleaner, but it's made me wonder why even plan it in zbrush if I'm not going to use the sculpt information in the first place?
I know it helps for sure when starting outwith proportions but I know there's probably a better way around it

The latest progress is above with more accurate proportions for legs! I've been readjusting some proportions based on feedback;and cleaning some bad meshes for leg again, so it's felt like I've been going backwards. Working on this in general has been a big workflow learning experience.
