Hello everyone!
I'm new to quixel suite and I'm looking for someone nice to explain if/how you can create a ddo custom material completely without a mesh, Id map.
I just want to make a albedo texture in photoshop, convert it to a normal and then work with it in ddo. Export these and use them in engine.
Is this possible?
I'm used to work with substance painter but I just want a quick way to create maps from images instead of the whole baking process

When I try to create a custom material in ddo and see what the results are in 3 do , 3 do crashes any idea why that is?
