good start! I'd do the sword draw as he comes out of the roll, a low horizontal cut as you have it now, then rise up a bit more for a downward diagonal second cut instead of another low horizontal cut. also pivot around the ball of the right foot as you come around instead of the heel.
also check out the clip on Jackie Chan's action editing from EveryFrameAPainting on youtube. I think it'll make your editing stronger.
Hey @shadowz, cool shot! If you upload to syncsketch it'll make it easier to critique. The parts that stand out to me are the pose he has when he enters the scene. It's a bit static and doesn't create an interesting silhouette. There are also some areas in which the timing can be exaggerated, such the first slash, which would help convey more force.
If you work on the timing/spacing it will help the cadence, which currently is a little too even.
Looking really good! Speeding up his initial roll into the scene and using a more interesting pose could make everything feel a little smoother. He seemed a tiny bit too slow coming in. I agree with everything Anthony said too, more forceful sword swings would make everything feel snappier and look really nice.
