Hello, I'm in the process of graduating University (one final presentation) and I have decided it's time to look for work, I'm proficient in Maya and Max. I've been animating for 2 and a half years and I've taken a few ianimate classes here and there. I have some experience using UE4 to do basic importing of animations, models and setting up blendspaces and montages to test the animations.
I prefer to be paid but post-launch could work if your game looks intersting to work on.
I'd love to work on a 3D platformer but as long as I'm animating I'm happy; I have no experience creating custom rigs, In the past I've used CAT or scripts I've purchased online but I'm more than willing to learn and will be attempting to learn after University is over.
I know that my reel isn't fantastic yet but I will be constantly adding and removing when necessary.

I've worked pretty consistently as freelance, the first project had me creating a ton of acting shots (no lipsync) unfortunately they switched to mocap so my works kinda lost in the nether, second project was for an FPS game but I had to leave due to personal issues before I took on my own animations (I was cleaning/adding object animation), third project was an RPG game I've posted two of the animations from that on my Artstation and the fourth project which is what I'm working on now is mainly idle and idle breaks which I'm unable to show just yet.
I'll link some of the work I've done which is mainly personal work bar the fishing.

I have a few scripts to create rigs in Maya and can use CAT to rig in 3ds Max but I'm not amazing at rigging just yet.
Email me at " leemeredithanimator@gmail.com " for any work you need doing, I prefer paid but if you're working on a project that really appeals to me we can work out something else.

These take downs were going to be used in engine but we found having the player face his attacker worked better

Personal work, this is an old piece that I re-visited, a lot of critique was that the ending felt weightless.

Personal work, I'm taking part in weekly challenge with two animator friends.

My rates are reasonable and I will go out of my way to solve any issues or problems that occur, free of charge. For me this is mostly a learning experience and a portfolio builder.
I've recently purchased modular rig builder, which allows me to rig character models for games but I am very inexperienced in this for now.

I'm working on three projects long term at the moment, one is on hold while the lead dev takes a well deserved break and the other two are making great progress.
Hide or Die hit its Kickstarter goal and then some and now we're in full dev mode pushing for an upcoming beta and Seas of Fortune is creating a ton of assets for their Kickstarter which should be coming in a few months.
I'm waiting for a few developers to give me the green light to post work but I can show work that I created for Pregnancy+ which was awesome to work on and a short clip from Seas of Fortune that has been made public via their monthly blog updates.

I'm open for freelance, I'd prefer something short term as I don't want to divide my attention away from HOD and SoF that much but hit me up with what you have!
In general I like to go by a fixed price, it works out cheaper and doesn't pressure me to work within X time frame but it's up to you.

Thanks!
I currently work for two projects long term, Seas of Fortune and the other is not in the public eye yet. I only have the below animation to show but there are a few rough animations posted on the Seas Of Fortune IndieDB link

I can animate in 3ds Max, Maya and work half decent in Blender 2.8 - I can rig in Maya and 3ds Max using RRM and CAT
My rates depend on how interesting your project is but I will not break your budget.
