Responsibilities
Rigging, weighting and setting up controls and interfaces for character animation.
Facilitating tools for exporting rigs to the engine.
Help troubleshoot, diagnose, and correct animation-related performance issues.
Collaborate with engineering to implement IK-based animation system.
Responsibility for creating rigs for all creatures.
Experience with hard surface and smooth deforming character pipelines and setup.
Advanced technical problem-solving skills.
Understanding of biomechanics and anatomy.
Requirements
3D animation and rigging.
5 years of experience in the video game industry.
Expert knowledge of Maya or Max.
An excellent understanding of real time animation including IK and physics.
An expert-level understanding of next-gen game character development processes, tools, pipelines.
A demonstrated ability to integrate the creative and technical character-building processes.
Optional, but a major plus
Experience in cinematic productions.
Experience with the Unity game engine.
