After doing Planar mapping to start UV, scene lags like crazy

Hey guys,

Trying to start doing the UVs and the scene lags when Im in UV mode and edge mode
when Im trying to place cuts and also when trying to place anchor points.

Its not terribly bad lag, but it is enough that it gets annoying while working with all these little points and edges.

Any ideas on how to speed up the scene?

    Two things are slowing your work down here :
    - You're in smooth preview, and your mesh is quite heavy. Try turning smooth preview off while working (hit 1).
    - Some of your history isn't helping, if you "Delete Non-Deformer History" things will speed up a bit.

    Hi thanks that helped a ton!

    I wasnt sure of deleting the non deformer because i thought deleting the poly planar projection node would delete the UV but it didnt!

    Btw
    Is it possible that I go to another scene of the same base mesh, wipe all the rig controls and then do the UV
    and then reimport it back into this scene that has the rig controls?
