Just wondering if anyone had some good advice regarding mouses for modeling.
Ideally it wouldn't be useless for gaming as well, although I have a zowie fk2 already hooked up, am mainly looking for good quality feeling and able to bind macros.
ALL THE MACROS. ON THE THUMB. I know this falls into the "MMO" mouse category.
Logitech G600? Bit tricky to find them around still..

Or any others for that matter...
Have fairly large hands (wink wink) so typically have to use "claw" grip or some form of, I don't rest my hand and fingers completely draped across the mouse.
Cheers!

The dedicated MMB is a godsend if you use a 3d app that has all its navigation tied to MMB, like 3ds Max. My wrist has never felt happier :P
-Oh almost forgot, don't get the Naga. The middle mouse button WILL break after a few months. I've gone though 3 Nagas and 2 death adders in the course of 5 years. I'd suggest the Scimitar or the G600
This is what I have. I'm a big guy with big hands, and this first nicely. I tried a few others, and they ended up being tiny and not comfortable AT ALL.

Used Logitech MX518 quite long but over the time the rubber material wore off and didn't feel good anymore.
Now I use a Logitech G502 and a G602.
I realised that I cannot use more than 2-3 buttons per finger comfortably, first I thought it would be a waste if I don't get used to using all buttons, but who cares, as long as the buttons used frequently are place well.
The G600 MMO mouse or other similar products don't fit for me. In any case it's always the best to try them in a shop.
Vertical mice look interesting, want to try one.
Anway, I've noticed that larger, and perhaps heavier, mice work best for most of my work.
Cheap, weight adjustable, and has macroable side keys. Put buttons like the "Repeat Last Action" on a macro button!
Kind of excited to see if AR might actually give me a stereoscopic depth advantage that Nvidia refused to give me unless I dip switched or enabled over to a Quadro for their forced PRO solution.
( feel like some are in denial/unaware of the charming volume ( or lack thereof... ) that is mo readily apparent when edit decisions are revealed with depth )
Wondering if as much might benefit from another appropriate input paradigm altogether.
