I'm going to use this thread as a sort of dev blog for this project.
It's a side scroller / puzzle game I'm working on as a sort of interactive portfolio piece.
Everything you see has been created by me only (Maya > Substance Designer / Painter > UE4 for the most part).
I'll start things off with a couple screen shots.
More details to come.

The master material controlling the rain has a bit more rain drop science behind it rather than a goofy noise.
Also adjusted the lighting with the addition of the lanterns.
Thanks to all the amazing feedback I've had (whether they know I'm posting this or not)!
Before the rain's built up...
Added a few more props, adjusted the lighting and channel packed the neon sign textures.
Here's a sequence of images for what I've got so far...
Firstly, made this fun Victorian wallpaper in Substance Designer for one of the upcoming sections.
Lots of circular splatter and edge detection going on.
And for the game...
Attempted to switch to 4.16 for the volumetric setup they're using now but decided it would be too much of a hassle for the amount of lighting work I've put into it already.
