Zbrush polygroups/Dynamesh master Help!

Hi, Having some issues with dynamesh master I'm sure it's something really silly I've just clicked on to get this error but can't figure it out if someone can help me out would be great! 

what I'm trying to do is split a mesh up with poly groups and I'm getting this issue when one for the groups keeps the topology and the rest loose topology.

Cntrl drag in the viewport to clear all masks, then cntl dag again to dynamesh. Is the part of the subtool that wont decrease res in the same subtool of the meshes that do? I cant reproduce your problem.

DM master is a button operation rather than a ctrl swipe.

OP. Not sure what the problem is but you can hide that part- split hidden- zremesh -merge.
