We are seeking a talented, passionate, and experienced 3D artist to help bring our worlds to life.
Please note that as of now this project is unfunded. We are a legal entity and we have a payroll company picked out. You will be working as an independent contractor as we finish up producing our demo. As soon as we acquire funding you will be given a full time salaried position with our studio. This will be guaranteed to you in your contract.
Responsibilities:
Create character and environment models with maya, blender, zbrush, etc following the creative direction of the designated supervisor
Follow supervisor directions, ensuring that the models created are precise and accurate
Complete assigned modeling tasks in a timely manner and ensure all working files are efficiently organized at all times
Fully comprehend the requirements on the designs, thereby creating models true to their designs, whether organic or mechanical in nature
Assist in concept and design of characters and environment assets
Create clean game topology, UV’s and textures
Required Skills:
Extensive experience with Maya, Blender, or any other 3D modeling software
Experience creating high quality materials with substance designer
Experience testing assets inside of Unreal Engine 4
Ability to create both organic and hard surface models
Superior eye for lighting, composition, color, and detail
Ability to work within memory constraints while maintaining high visual quality
Self motivation and the ability to collaborate within a team
Previous game development experience (paid or unpaid)
