Hi Guys,
I thought it was about time to start a new challenge! This one is based on something I made recently and as I'm in the middle of moving house at the moment I won't have a lot of time to take part in it so HERE'S ONE I MADE EARLIER:
This challenge is about getting something from a high point to a low point and should focus on landing, falling, jumping, climbing or all of the above. It can be as simple or complex as you like, for example..
- Climbing down a ladder
- Superhero landing
- Sliding down a mountain
- Falling off a building
- Rapell off a cliff (like Aloy in Horizon)
- A dragon descending from the sky
- An assassin attacking from above
- etc..
This one is all about body mechanics so think about creative ways to show weight, timing, squash and stretch.. etc. It would be great to see everyone's processes for this, for example, I started with a cube to work out the timing and motion before adding my key poses
(LINK HERE)Looking forward to seeing what you all come up with!

Hey everyone, first post here. I've been lurking around these threads for quite awhile, but finally decided to post
Here's a shot I've been working on for the past couple of days, which kinda matches the theme. Critiques appreciated.
Here's a syncsketch video too : https://www.syncsketch.com/playground/30a8bb2ea72343e4ab13abc5eb53b162#175272
Any thoughts/comments/(harsh) critiques are always welcome ^_^
I've left some nit-picky notes on syncsketch looking forward to seeing your other stuff too!
Look forward to seeing what everyone comes up with.
and thanks @WarrenG fr the drawovers! fixing it now!
Hi everyone, I have prepared some animation to this challenge and as for me it was a real challenge
So far i haven't polished it like super polished, but got what i got

it suppose to be looped so don't forget to check on youtube "loop on" or something like that
critique are welcome

@SpecterShadow Great start man! I think a lot of the movement is there, I'd just focus a little more on timing and really push those leaps and landings so there's a much bigger contrast in speed. I'd really push the stretching and compression when she is jumping between each wall. Will leave some notes in syncsketch when I get a few minutes Looking good so far though!
@Hito Haha nice! This is looking fun! Obviously its just a block out so far but once you get into it I'd really exaggerate the compression when he hits each platform so he really looks like hes ragdolling and the hits look super heavy. Looking forward to seeing this progress!
got a few more hours into this... so... many... bits... and... bobs... gawd.
A few more passes on the bits and bobs. and upped the gag.

Endless Descent Cycle from Fırat Cenkci on Vimeo.
I add some visual effect, particles, even though don't know much about it, just wanted to make it look prettier then usual playblast and I think I can call it finished.
So here it is
I'm struggling with that geometry knees glitch
@Sonny Cool idea! Would be great to see this as a looping gif with her descending down a few variations of the platform.
