Hi there, this is my very first post so please excuse me if I'm infringing any forum etiquette here.
I'd really welcome any critiques or perspectives on my current WIP - a scene heavily based on a) reference imagery of various alleyways in the Shinjuku district of Tokyo and b) of course the Devon Fay tutorial series on Gnomon.
I'm trying to take it beyond what is covered in the Devon Fay tutorial, hence the much more detailed left-hand side of the scene.
While the left side is now more or less done (lighting in windows and doorways will be tweaked in terms of colour and intensity), the right-hand side should all pretty much be considered as placeholder geo. I have plenty of things lined up and ready to go in, but as I said I'd greatly welcome any input at this stage.
Regards, B.

Finally completed this image and learned a great deal along the way. The Photoshop work could definitely be better / more subtle, because having worked on modeling and texturing all those assets, I desperately wanted to make sure they were all lit properly! So, lighting is flat and even, I know - but it's time to move on to the next scene.
If any of you could spare a moment, to like this over at ArtStation (it's my first submission there) I'd be very grateful.
