General costs of using CGI characters in live action film?

Mostly out of curiosity, I was wondering how much it costs to animate and composition a CGI character into live action footage?

Didn't think I needed to be more specific, but okay; what on average is the cost for compositing a CGI character in a scene, based on the number of frames the character is on screen, only accounting for the character themselves and whatever effects are required to composition them into the live action footage effectively?

The reason I asked this was like I said, out of curiosity; I don't have a specific project or animation in mind, just wanted to get an idea of what usually goes into making these kind of effects in film and tv. That link you posted gave me a general idea of what the cost would be though, thanks for that!
