Low resolution textures in render

Hello,

Im doing some texture tests in marmoset 3 and taking 8k captures of the character in full, that I intend to scale down to get as much detail as possible.
The results im getting are very blurry. Is there any way to avoid this?

Top image is the cropped 8k capture. and the bottom is the result I want.



Apologies if this is something completely obvious but it seems to be evading me.
