No autosave or recovery files?

So, i'm a huge idiot, 2 hours without saving in substance painter, suddenly crashed (which btw first time it happens so congrats on such a solid program) and there was no recovery upon reopening and haven't found any autosave file. I guess i'm a bit used to having these features and as a result i'm a bit careless when it comes to regularly saving... If in fact there isn't, is this a feature that is planned?

there is usually a recovery file on the same folder where your original file is. Now, if you NEVER saved upon first creating the file, I don't think there is much do be done.

This is only valid for Substance Designer.

We don't have an autosave system for Substance Painter.

Any release dates you could reveal? I've held off on using the 3d party autosave plugin after SP destroyed a file of mine and me anecdotally connecting that destruction to the plugin I had installed at the time.. (though arguably it could have been a dozen other things) ;/
