If I had to wager a guess, I'd say it's because your UVs are unoptimized. I don't know anything about CE however so if it's engine-related you'll need to ask the CE developers.

Which points back to my statement about UVs - the way yours are laid out isn't utilizing the full resolution of the available space. If that's a 2k texture, it's going to look pretty low-res in the end.
