So i start painting, colors show up, i can erase and whatnot, all good. When i un-click the paint layer, everything is fine. When i change the opacity or blending mode of the layer, nothing happens (still 100%
visible). When i hide the layer the paint is still visible. Still visible after deleting the layer! No matter how many times i hit refresh it just doesn't update. Whenever i paint and look at the albedo map in the background there is nothing visible (but visible in the viewer).
It gets better...
If i close 3DO after unclicking the paint layer, it will disappear once i relaunch 3DO. Saving the project with layer visible still deletes the paint layer, once reloaded there is no paint visible.

If this problem persists afterward, could you tell me what version of PS you're running?
Shut down Photoshop if it's running.
Right click on Photoshop, run as admin (not permanently, just once). Close it.
Run Suite.
Try painting again, let me know if that helps out!
What's also strange is when i enter the painting mode, some of my previously setup materials disappear or get turned off. To make them come back i have to close 3DO and it will reload them correctly. The paint layer again is empty but paint is visible in 3DO. It worked when no materials where setup at first.
So i tried a few things and took note of my steps to isolate where it's coming from. I'm able to replicate the issue by switching my preview resolution to half and then create a painting layer, it just doesn't bake the paint at all when at half res (or anything lower). As soon as i switch back to full resolution i'm able to paint again and it works as expected. I re-tested a few times with different meshes and so far so good!
