I've made this model a few month ago. I would love to have some critique.
This project is inspired by an edited version of a picture from the visual novel
"Suiheisen made Nan Mile? - Deep Blue Sky & Pure White Wings"..
To realize this piece, I began by researching ways and methods of
creating cloth with the focus on how to sculpt the wrinkles and find
credible material.
I had a few obstacles to overcome, such as the ways Unreal Engine 4 handles several transparent materials.
I was not focussing on creating a topologically correct character,
so I performed research on tools which help me to speed up the process
of creating a character with my desired requirements. I ended up finding
the tool "Make Human". It is a quite powerful tool for creating
rudimentary characters in low- or high poly. I decided to use this tool
for a base mesh and to then sculpt some details into it.
Some Examples are following. I don't want to spam this post with pictures.
