I'm not familiar with the character workflow to make cinematic characters where multiple UV tiles are used for just the head. I've tried using a UDIM workflow but
when i tried to load this into substance painter with the check next to creating texture sets per udim tile, it still reads all tilesets as occupying one UV space

to see the tiles set the grid value to 10
in the uv editor view --> grid optionbox
ah that must be it. I was watching a tutorial where the guy seemed to make the uv sets as small as i've done, but he must've changed the grid size beforehand, thanks!
