First time posting here, super excited; I'm working on a piece that I really want to push to the next level as even though I've improved a lot in such a short time, I want to push it even further. First, here's some stuff that I've started on/done so far: most recent:
So now you can see where I'm at, I'm only a student in 3D so I got a lot to learn but find it's good to learn outside of the course and reach out to professional artists as much as possible.

woah!"I figured since my texturing and baking could use a lot of work, perhaps I'd find that modelling the female in the picture would prove a smooth step from busts, as there aren't too many different materials on her and there aren't so many separate pieces.
So, I went right on ahead and got started:
I like where it's going so far, but don't think she looks much like the picture yet; I feel having the jaw any sharper would cut my screen, maybe softening is needed but I'm not sure. I'm also thinking of taking a realistic standpoint, so I suppose I should get real, human reference?
