Progress and stuff

Hello i'm Stuart from Scotland and I'm studying at Abertay doing Computer arts. 1st year student woking towards becoming a concept designer.

I'm still at the early fundamental stages of learning but  thought i should try and get my stuff out anyway ! Maybe get some advice.   

The blog isn't really a portfolio its just something for me to look back at and hopefully see improvements

Much better, the spaceship in that last piece looks great, but the landscape looks like its not matching the perspective, but it might just be the lack of detail so its hard to judge scale.

Means a lot to me saying you like the ship! I see what you mean about the landscape. I'll try to fix it up.

I'm in the stage of hardcore learning my fundamentals and I wasn't sure if this was a good idea but what I'm planing on doing is trying to apply them to some sort of design. 
I'm trying to do about 20 env thumbnails a night before I head to bed so for the next week I'll post the one I like the most (each night) and maybe some of you could give me advice on composition and such
