Hi guys!
Creating a sci-fi level sometimes we use stairs or ramps to connect its different areas; other times, however, it might be interesting to use a moving platform to better connect those areas, for example inside an underground tunnel or along a spaceship hangar or between the buildings of a sci-fi city .....
So I'm creating a moving platform that should move parallel to the floor, I would like to know what you think of this model, I will add other details inside Substance Painter.
But main question is: if I want reuse this model also as a vertical lift, what changes could be made?
For example I could add a mechanical arm behind it!?
Thanks!!

For a vertical lift I would add some support structure on the side which face the wall (e.g. which holds the lift to the rails).
With this model I think you can easily do it by adding a it as a modular piece on the rear part (behind the console).
I would then also add some railing at the front part, maybe with a small door.
Thanks for suggestions!
I'll search some nice references about how attach a rail on a vertical wall, for support pieces around the platform I have already a few ideas!
Hi there!
Meanwhile an update of main asset, I added materials with Painter.

Next I'm thinking on a simple environment around it before creating support pieces and so on.
