After seeing some of the personal work of a concept artist friend's, I bugged him to let me model one of his pieces and picked out this one:

I really like his art style and I particularly enjoy doing stylized, hand-painted pieces, so think I'm going to have a lot of fun with this one. Here is where I am at with the modelling of it so far:

If I could make one small suggestion it would be to slightly scale up the lamp and the plant.. they seem a little lost amongst the other objects in the scene, and compared with the ones in the concept..

@Aeseeberg04 I appreciate the thread link, there's some good info in there. It's also always interesting to see other artist's take on a concept. I like that you added the charging station/tech thingy under the bookshelf that the robot is plugged into, I think I went with the concept a little too literally and just kinda have the cords disappearing into the darkness O.o
@PeteJViney Thanks! I scaled up the desk lamp and plant, though you can't see it in the update screenshot...
As before, would love to hear feedback, particularly on the textures themselves.
