Animated Profile Picture/Avater

Hey there,

I'm searching for a while now, but i can't find how to use an animated GIF as profile picture/avatar.

All posts I found where from 2013 and earlier and seems to be outdated.

On some forum posts I read that there is a difference between an avatar and a profile picture, and that there is a way to change them separately, but I can't find where.

Am I blind or something?

Anim gif avatars have been filed as a bug, and we're waiting on a fix. There's a similar bug with anim gifs on the News page... if they're uploaded to Polycount (drag-n-drop or attached) they don't animate on the front page. We'll let you know when/if it's fixed.

I've seen many other users with animated avatars...

Anim avatars work if they were posted before the forum upgrade in November 2015.
