Since I started 3D modeling, the rocks were always an horror to me. So this time, I tried to make a cave, starting to work with normal maps and making a lot of tests with rocks and lights, so, this is the current process:

(The lights are placed random currently

)
This is going to be part of a scene in a game, so I have to keep the polygons count low.
The next step is to add some glowing plants, but it's a start!

Now I want to add some "human items" like rails, minecarts, etc. and maybe I have to make the cave bigger
Next step: Create a bigger cave! And play with some water zones
The next step is adding it to the game, so you can see a better look of the cave ingame
I started to upload the making-process of the cave here:
starting with the shape
I'll try to add a little bit of variation, maybe some moss, sand, little rocks...
