Custom Glock 23 - WIP

Hey everyone! It's been a while since I've been online, so I thought I'd kick off a new year with a new project. I wanted to create a platform to display a variety of scopes, lights/lasers and various other accessories. So I went ahead and made this gem. I've got a Trijicon RMR in the works right now with a SureFire light after that. Please feel free to C&C.

Quick Update:

Just finished modeling the RMR. I used a combination of SolidWorks and Fusion 360. I'm trying to incorporate more parametric modeling in my work flow. Going to start the low poly tonight.

Is that a textured low poly? because your normals look really nice and smooth, cant tell if its high or low poly atm. Which is a good thing

Yep, it's the textured low poly. I used zbrush to polish the high poly. It helps the bakes come out nice and clean. I would post the marmoset viewer, but I have no idea how to do that on here.

Yeh you have nailed the bake.What did you bake in?  So are these stills from marmoset?  looking really nice

Thanks! I baked the normals in xNormal, it seems to be the most consistent for me. These are rendered in Substance Designer with Iray. The Marmoset renders look ok, but they have a lot of render artifacts when using GI.

Quick update:

I finished the RMR sight and adjusted the frame color. I felt that it was a bit too saturated for a flat dark earth color. I'll be moving onto the next project now, but I might come back to this later on and make a flashlight/laser for it.
