3D models/scenes on different phys. HDD than textures?

If i have 2 physical HDD similiar in speed, will i gain any speed advantage if i put my 3D models and scenes on one physical disc, and textures and HDRIs ("images" in general) on other physical disk...?
Will the scene load faster or "move faster" in viewport or anything?
(currently i have 3D data and image data (textures) on the same physical HDD)
