Hi, I'm new (new as in I just now decided to use this account) to polycount and was wondering if you guys have any tips on how to make this walk cycle better. If I had to guess, its biggest issue is the stiffness, but I can't seem to get rid of it, any tips?

The first thing I noticed is that both feet come off the ground which shouldn't happen in a walk, that usually only happens in a jog or run. Make sure one foot is always touching the ground so as the right foot is planting, the left foot should be leaving the ground.
To get rid of the stiffness try having the overlap on the forearms. Avoid them being at a constant 90 degree angle. Have the arm straighten a little as he's bring it past his body and then fold in a little.
Have a look at the 'Animator's Survival Kit' by Richard Williams. It has a huge part on walk cycles.
