Hi there,
i recently got the Quixel Suite 2 (2.2.2) and iam totally addicted to it! It could be a little more performant but that's no big deal so far. Anyways ...
I have some strange problems while exporting textures to UE4. In 3DO the texturing looks awesome. But when i import the model and textures to UE4 (created default level and raised the sun a bit) it looks awefull in my oppinion - very shiny, less and rough details and overall unrealistic compared to 3DO. Especially the roughness is far from what i created in Quixel ALSO i disabled sRGB in the texture-properties (Unreal) and changed texture to Linear in material options (Unreal)... I created the textures using the UE4-RMA and UE4 target (Quixel DDO) and tried both variants in Unreal but the result was still the same.
So either it is all fine and Unreal just renders the material different from 3DO or there is anything i missed so far ...
Maybe someone has an idea. I attached some screenshots ...
Thanks so far!
