Hi everyone, I post my advancement on this forum to have constructive critics to change what needs to be changed. So for this project I'm working on Maya 2017 the final rendering of my short footage will be done on Arnold. I showed my main character to one of my teachers and he told me to change the thumb and make the thighs look a little fatter. I Have some rendres of my scene ( done a 80% ).
Going well!! My only tip would be to not make your scene too dark , we need to be able to see a clear silhouette in the character or notice his expression <--- this all depends on the vibe and the story of course :P
It looks really cool so far, I'm loving the scene setup.. Great job on making the lighting changes, it really looks better. I can't wait for the animation to be posted. Keep us updated. Also a few tips before you start, you probably already know this, but if you don't; here you go... please don't have that weird creepy smile on his face when you animate, it's like a weird creepy neutral smile.. Better placement of his fingers since they're not touching anything on the left. Good luck!
The rendering looks nice, did you stay true to using Arnold? I wish you would have posted the animation for critiques to get it looking better. He looks way too stiff and movement is quite off, missing the principles of animation. All in all, it's a good layout and idea.
