Heey all!
My name is Martin de Graaf, I'm a recent graduate in 3D.
I'm mostly interested in improving my skills on the texture art side and that's what I will show off mostly here.
I'm open for all kinds of critique, big reason for me to post here is to improve myself as an artist.
More detailed versions of the post and additional images can be found on my ArtStation in the signature below.

A decorative pattern I replicated after seeing it in on a cashier booth, had a lot of fun trying to replicate the shapes in Substance Designer.
Here's my progress during this challenge:
First version
Second version, added some more height variation and adjusted the albedo.
Third version, added some more roughness variation.
I wanted to go for an optical illusion kind of pattern.
Adjusted the roughness and played with lighting in Marmoset Toolbag 3.
After some feedback added sand, on top and adjusted albedo of the cover as it was a little too dark.
Rendered in UE4.
