Low poly model

hello everyone, i am trying to make a low poly car model.Just only low poly no high poly version of the car.I know if i make high poly and bake it into low poly then i get great result but my laptop can't handle the x normal so i am making only low poly and creating normal map in quixel.  pls tell me is there something wrong and for final render is it necessary to soften the model and harden some edges where details are.......
