I wanted to pose a question about the workflow for Dota2 weapons, considering their very low poly count.
I was wondering how people are approaching retopology.
Do you:
- Retop with a medium-res model, bake, and then strip verts?
- Do you make a new primitive model cage at any point (rebuilding the model with low-poly)?
There's so many ways to do this, but I'm working on my first weapon and wondering what approach most people take.
