Thinking about Producing after a game design degree! Any advice?

Hello all, I'm graduating from the Art Institute of Pittsburgh with a bachelors degree in Game art & design in September this year. I've come to find that the game design side of gaming isn't for me. I am interested in Producing games because while I do love the Game Industry, I feel that producing would make a better fit for me personally. With my military background, I strongly feel that this would be a good choice for me. Moreover, if anyone has any advice on what I can do next to achieve this goal or practices to study just to get my feet wet I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you for your time!
