Converting Maps in Substance Painter

Ok so this is gonna be a bit confusing, but I can't understand how to do this.

So I textured a mesh in Quixel Suite and exported using the Specular PBR workflow, so I have a normal, gloss, and specular map, all with RGB channels. Ok so here's where it gets tricky.

I need to make both the gloss and specular greyscale, and then combine them so that one "Specular" map is created. The gloss map would use the Green channel, and the specular would use the Red channel, nothing in  the Blue channel (black).

The point is that I am trying to create a singular "Specular" map for the game engine.

If you scroll down to the 4th post, it displays what i'm trying to achieve. Any help would be amazing :)

If you are using quixel to do the texturing, why don't you just combine the channels in photoshop manually? Otherwise if you are insistent on doing this within painter, just import the maps and create a custom export like they have done. This video goes over the basics of creating a new export preset if you are unfamiliar with that process.
