Hi, I am starting with handpainted stuff. Can anyone, please give me any clue of how improve this texture?.

I am just working on the planks before starting with the table legs.

Dont worry about random numbers on the texture, are notes clues for notebook so i can write where I let the work at some point.

Also what @artofmars said - find good reference/inspiration. Plenty of awesome stuff in the handpainted thread on here.
The main issue here is that the grooves in your wood have no flow or direction to them.
WIP Expect update ASAP.
The white edge shouldn't be completely solid across all the edges of your texture, IMO it should be heavily emphasized at areas where it would naturally catch light. Like the corners, or in places like your divet on the stone and on some edges.
Also I would brighten up your textures by like 10% because they're getting super dark and you lose a lot of your detailing! Also maybe use a little bit less of the smudge/blur tool because it harms the fidelity of your texture.
Looking good! Can't wait to see your next piece!
