Personal game environment project based on a typical Spanish village. Created entirely with PBR materials made with Substance Designer and Substance Painter.
The materials on the structures are very well put together, there is not really any repetition, even on large surfaces. Did you used decals for the walls to give them more variation? nice job!
I think that your brick material, thats on the bell tower is a bit contrasty. Do you have a lot of contrast in the albedo? Specifically with how dark it is in the grout.
I think the scale of texture on some of your buildings is a little off. Specifically on the buildings at the :50 mark in your video. The plaster on the building on the left, and that material that is on the foundation of the texture on the right. The scale is off compared to everything else, so it really stood out.
Overall, the scene feels a bit empty. You have a lot of large empty spaces, and not enough clutter to fill them. Get some more props and set dressing in there!
Oh, your manhole cover, to me, looks very small, could probably double that in size.
@gsokol I saw the brick material too flat, so maybe I contrasted it too much. About the scale of the textures, I wanted them to look different and maybe it's a lot. I apreciate really much your feedback
Lovely work - I agree with the crits so far re: lighting and some materials, but chiming in to also acknowledge its coolness - im noticing all the little touches here having toiled over something similar myself lately
