Hey guys/gals, no idea if this was a thread already but just wondering where does everyone get there inspiration from? Like what is the thought process you go through to figure out what you wanna do? As a beginner i struggle really hard to figure out what to do next I personally flick through a game art book or something and try make something from there...

sounds like a good plan to me. 
flick through your cool art materials and get inspiration that way. nothing wrong with that!
I usually go with what feels good and slips into my schedule most easily. But if you're totally free, then just do what you're loving at the time!
