Reselect / edit insert multi mesh brush

Hey,

is there a way to reselect an object that was created with an insert multi mesh brush (in curve mode) AFTER clicking away? Or do I have to do the thing again from scratch if I want to edit it again?

First I have:

Then, after clicking away, it's inserted. And now I want to go back into editing the curve again, but this is somehow not possible.

Any solutions?

Once the curve is still active you can continue to edit it. It's only when you delete the curve that you can no longer edit. Just make sure you're using a curve brush.

Ok, thanks. So I saved my file now, then opend it again (I didn't leave curve edit mode there). I still see the curve of the chain (with the blue edit brush), which is good.
But now, when i try to edit the chain, it always gets duplicated. I only want to edit the existing chain further though.
How do I do that?

Not sure. It could be a bug. It's behaving as if the Snapshot feature were activated(hotkey 5) I can reproduce it every time I save a .ZPR
