hrmmm so for easy diagnosis trying removing all oher inputs besides your diffuse, make sure that the terrain material is plugged in in the appropriate location in the terrain panel. i would also add a direction light to the scene so we can see the terrain. I would also try changing your preview weights to 1 let me know what you get
@Cglewis There is already a directional placed in the scene, if I connect only the splatmap looks good, but when I use it as HEIGH no. If i change preview wights to 1, is the same (black) I think the problem is the "BLENDS nodes"
@ZombieDEV yeah that does look pretty good,....the preview wieght would only change it in the material editor window which is an easy way to determine if you height map is working........the one thing that stands out is try removing your 2nd landscape cord because your blurry preview is very similar to what is actually showing up on your terrain in this image are you just straight piping the texture into the terrain without the terraincoord node?
