Ok so I'm working on a project were a building is being destroyed. This is done with houdini dynamics.
Now because the building will collapse it's already broken up into parts in houdini and then imported again in maya with alembic.
I want to project a matte painting on this and bake it into the UV's.
The projection looks good in the viewport:

I figured this shouldn't matter, as it's a projection anyway, so the UV's don't matter. I tried dilating the whole thing but that doesn't fix the problem.
Any ideas how to fix this?

Is transfer maps possible with a projection through a camera? Also not sure it will work since it's quite High poly. Bake will probably take ages in Maya. I could try though but won't I get the same problem with seams?
