best workflow to retopologize a car model

Hi everyone,
I want to retopologize a 3d model of a car to make it gameready. Currently I am testing the ZBrush ZRemesher with the ZRemesherGuides. This works quite well but at some points the algorythm is not good. I would maybe let the ZRemesher do the most of the work and the wrong parts I would delete and remodel them by hand In 3dsMax.
I have also tried the complete retopo stuff in 3dsMax but it took me far too long working with the freeform tools.

Does anybody here tried retopologize some car models? What was your workflow? What techniques would recommend?
