Finally got started with my next character, Pandemic. Changed the previous design a bit. He now has a smaller more angular head so he appears more bear like. Still need to add his chest strap, and a few other things such as the mouth.
I plan on using Topogun to retoplogise this guy but I cant find any full tutorials on it. Can topogun even be used for multi part meshes? Every vid Iv seen seems to be one continuos mesh, which is not ideal.

Tried something different with the mouth. Instead of just one shape and having the impression of teeth I decided to make a small tooth model and use that to give his mouth some detail. Looks a bit more menacing I think. Not sure I like the fur texture. Its okay at a distance but not so much up close. I reckon it would look good once I have neofur applied but that seems like cheating. I really would like to find a way to acheive it myself.

Final Bamboo staff model. I think I overdid the damage. I wanted it to look old and worn but I think I went overboard. I opted to take the wrapping off the top since it didnt seem practical. It would get in the way and be very annoying to deal with when it came to Snack time.
Overall I am happy with how he came out but I cant help feel theres a certain "bootleg" quality to him. Kinda looks like one of those cheap animated disney movie knockoffs..Maybe I'll feel better when I get him rigged.
