Weird graphical issue in maya (OBJ import from Marvelous Designer 6 (and ZBrush))

So I made a really quick and simple cloth thing in MD6, exported as .obj and imported into maya. 
However, inside maya I get these very weird graphical bugs, sort of look like the normals are messed up but I have no idea how to fix it. Resimulating in MD6 and reexporting/importing doesnt help, the graphical bug just moves usually.
