Hey all,
I have a question regarding the SmartResym in ZBrush:
When I try to fix the symmetry of my model with SmartResym, my mesh gets screwed up.
Tried to center the pivot aswell as did 'unify' to have the model completely viewed in the preview window, not working.
Is there any solution to this? (You can ignore the arms, torso and feet are one piece.)
The toes were added separatetly and dynameshed into the body by the way, maybe somethings wrong with this..

It looks like this:

initial

smartResym'd

The resym tools are more like a surface Projection, and as a result they work best when the topology is symmetrical enough to support the forms. Because the other foot doesn't have the vertices for those toes, it can only do so much to project them onto the stump that it has to work with.

Mirror and Weld should work instead since it will also mirror the topology. If it uses the wrong side and gives you two toe-less feet, then use Deformation: Mirror first, and then Mirror and Weld.

Yea, thanks. Fixed it, I actually just duplicated, mirrored, merged and then dynamesh'd it.
