Jose.Fuentes : Thanks man, ya its been awhile alot has happened since then big projects at work, getting a new job and moving to vancouver. So im finally settled in lol.
Hey guys its been a long time, Almost finished this character alot of personal and work stuff has gotten in the way of me finishing her but im happy to almost be done, These are shots of the sculpt that are almost done, the lower legs and wings im still working on specifically the wing skin and the leg design. So what do you guys think?
Hey @Kend I'm happy to see this piece back in action. I look forward to the final renders! The sculpt is looking fantastic. Concerning below the waist, you could try adding more geo that comes off of the quads. Like what you have on the iliac crest and lateral sides of the lower leg. The hamstrings could use some interesting shapes as well.
I'd really like to have some insight to your retopo process for such intricate detailing (do you duplicate/hand retopo?) and how you manage to keep things organized. Seeing such intricate concepts have always intimidated me.
@bkost thanks man, Ya im gonna play with the legs more im still not 100% feeling them right now. as for the retopo ya alot of it was both duplicating and hand retopo. also experimenting with what will work for riggin and animating.
Ive been working away on the retopo and leg redesign, but i wanted to do a quick liquify over the model to tweak the proportions, im trying to go for a bayonetta/fashion illustration proportions. What do you guys think, Look in the posts above for the full sculpt, im trying to figure out what to with the legs
WIP of my Cyborg Vampire, Just wanted to post a shot of this, this is the artifact that's on her chest giving her demonic powers, it also keeps her heart alive after she was stabbed in the heart with a stake which is why she is a cyborg, If you have any crits of her lemme know
Loving the french braids! I'm actually working on a model with french braids too, is there any chance you could show your process on how you created these? I've been testing out all kinds of methods (xGen, braidmaker, etc.) and would be interested to know how you achieved them.
