well curvature map contains convexity and concavity map..am i right ?
whats the differrence between.. concavity map and cavity map...i think its same just diffirent name both is to capture the tiny details in the texture like skin pores or areas which collect dust and we use it with diffuse and specularity overlay?
convexity is the inverse of cavity..right?
u can use it to mask subsurface scattering also for the surface continuation ..does that means we use it with translucet surfcess..like wax or skin only?
if i generate curvature map can i put it in ampient occlustion channel instead of it ..or which channel i have to pick..i know its noob question ..but iam still beginner
is there any video to show the process of how to use curvature map in proper way?
thx

All those maps are basically the same height information, imagine the textures as layers sideways like a cut of a mountain, and each map has a different part of a mountain (the surface) cut out, cavity full bottom, AO bottom, concavity middle, convexity on top
